About
Dr. Bhushan Shivram Chaudhari is a Professor at Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune, with 21 years of teaching and research experience in Information Technology and Computer Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University (2019), an M.E. in Information Technology from Mumbai University (PIIT, Panvel) and a B.Tech. in Information Technology from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere.
His doctoral research developed an evolving intrusion detection algorithm for mobile ad-hoc networks based on particle swarm optimization. His current work spans machine learning for healthcare, IoT systems, blockchain-based access control, deep learning for medical imaging, and wireless network security, with publications in SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, seven published or granted patents, two registered copyrights, and an edited book on generative AI.
Before joining PCU, he served as Associate Professor and Head of the IT Department at SVKM's Institute of Technology, Dhule, where he was also a member of the Board of Management, Chairperson of the IT Board of Studies and PhD Research Cell Coordinator at SVKM NMIMS Global University, Dhule. He is a recognized Ph.D. guide at Sandip University, Nashik and SVKM NMIMS Global University, Dhule.
